Shipping Charges & Times
Shipping charges for orders placed through IBPet.com are assessed based on multiple variables, including total order weight, package dimensions, destination address, and the shipping method selected at checkout. All applicable shipping charges are disclosed to customers before an order is submitted.
Customers signed into an IBPet account may view estimated shipping charges within their shopping cart. Final shipping costs will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process once a valid shipping address has been entered and a shipping method has been selected. Shipments destined for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO addresses, and P.O. Boxes may be subject to additional carrier-mandated surcharges. All final shipping charges reflect carrier rates, package characteristics, and region-based fees.
Continental United States
Within the continental United States, IBPet offers multiple service levels. Estimated delivery windows commence once order processing is complete and the shipment is transferred to the carrier:
- Standard Shipping: 2–5 business days
- 2nd Day Air: 2 business days
- Next Day Air: 1 business day
Delivery estimates are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Delivery timelines may be extended due to weather conditions, carrier delays, operational interruptions, or seasonal volume surges. IBPet does not assume responsibility for delays attributable to carrier operations or conditions beyond IBPet’s control.
P.O. Boxes, Alaska & Hawaii
Shipments addressed to P.O. Boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii are fulfilled via USPS Priority Mail, with an estimated delivery timeframe of 3–6 business days. Certain oversized or restricted items may be ineligible for USPS delivery. Surcharges imposed by carriers may apply and will be displayed during checkout.
APO/FPO & U.S. Territories
Eligible shipments sent to APO/FPO addresses and U.S. Territories are delivered through USPS Priority Mail, with estimated delivery windows of 7–13 business days. Tracking visibility may be limited, as USPS often provides delivery confirmation only. IBPet does not currently support shipments to the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Everyday Free Shipping on $35+
IBPet provides complimentary Standard Shipping on qualifying domestic orders of $35 or more (subtotal before taxes and shipping fees). No promotional code is required. Complimentary Standard Shipping is applicable to shipments within the continental United States. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or P.O. Boxes follow USPS Priority Mail rates pursuant to carrier policies.
Free Shipping Exclusions
Complimentary shipping does not apply to the following categories or conditions:
- Oversized, overweight, or bulk items
- Temperature-sensitive, refrigerated, or frozen products
- Hazardous materials or items requiring special handling
- White-glove delivery services or LTL freight shipments
- Orders exceeding a combined weight of 300 lbs
- Gift Cards or eGift Cards
- Out-of-stock, special-order, or unavailable items
- Donation items or charitable add-ons

Order Processing Times
Unless otherwise indicated, IBPet processes orders within 1–3 business days. Processing times may be extended during peak periods, including but not limited to:
- Holiday seasons
- Sales events and promotional cycles
- Carrier operational delays
- Orders requiring additional verification for fraud prevention or billing confirmation
Order processing timelines do not include weekends or federal holidays. Orders requiring verification may be delayed until the requested information is provided and validated.
Tracking & Delivery Updates
Upon shipment, customers receive a shipping confirmation email that includes the carrier name, tracking number, shipment details, and the carrier’s estimated delivery date. Tracking information may require up to 24 hours to update within the carrier’s system. Certain USPS shipments may provide limited tracking visibility and may only offer delivery confirmation.
Shipping Restrictions
Certain products are subject to shipping restrictions based on carrier regulations, state or federal compliance requirements, or product characteristics. Restricted items may include, but are not limited to:
- Hazardous or regulated materials
- Pressurized or aerosolized goods
- Oversized, overweight, or irregularly shaped items
- Battery-powered or lithium-based electronics
- Products sensitive to extreme temperatures
To maintain compliance and ensure safety, IBPet reserves the right to modify shipping methods at any time when required by legal, regulatory, or operational constraints.
Undeliverable or Returned Packages
A shipment may be designated as undeliverable due to:
- Incorrect, incomplete, or invalid address information provided by the customer
- Carrier inability to deliver to the provided address or P.O. Box
- Multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts
- Delivery refusal by the recipient
- Carrier restrictions or destination ineligibility
If a package is returned to IBPet by the carrier, the following policies apply:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method minus original shipping charges
- Reshipment requests will require payment of new shipping fees
- IBPet bears no responsibility for delays arising from inaccurate address entry or failure to accept delivery
Lost, Damaged, or Missing Shipments
If a shipment is lost, arrives damaged, or is missing items, customers must notify IBPet at Support@IBPet.com within 48 hours of the documented delivery date or expected delivery timeframe. Customers may be required to provide supporting documentation, including photographs of packaging and product damage.
Upon receipt of required information, IBPet will initiate an investigation with the carrier. Potential resolutions may include:
- Replacement of the affected item(s), when available
- Refund to the original payment method
- Store credit
- Other remedies allowed under applicable carrier liability rules
Shipments marked “Delivered” by the carrier shall be deemed delivered for purposes of risk-of-loss allocation. However, IBPet will provide reasonable support to customers during carrier investigations. IBPet is not liable for theft, misdelivery, or loss occurring after the carrier records delivery.
Backorders
If an item cannot be fulfilled due to lack of inventory, the available items within the order will be shipped immediately. Items that remain unavailable will be automatically canceled, and a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Customers may reorder the item when inventory is replenished. IBPet does not reserve or hold backordered items for future fulfillment.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates displayed at checkout represent the total shipping charges applicable to the order and may include:
- Carrier transportation costs
- Package handling and labor
- Protective packaging materials
- Regulatory or destination-based surcharges
IBPet does not apply additional hidden fees or surcharges for specialized packaging materials, including cold packs, heat packs, or reinforced shipping containers.

By placing an order through IBPet.com, customers expressly acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed under any circumstances
- Risk of loss transfers to the carrier upon shipment acceptance
- IBPet is not liable for shipping delays, carrier errors, weather interruptions, natural disasters, labor disputes, or any circumstances beyond IBPet’s direct control
- Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information
- IBPet may modify shipping methods as necessary to comply with legal, operational, or safety requirements
